Chelsea winger, Christian Pulisic, has insisted that he has always been doubted since he joined the club from Borussia Dortmund in 2019.
Pulisic said he was enjoying his stay at Stamford Bridge amid reports that he could leave Chelsea.
The 22-year-old said this while dismissing speculation he could leave Chelsea this summer transfer window.
Pulisic’s current role at Chelsea has led to speculation he could look to leave the Blues at the end of the season.
The USA international recently admitted he was ‘very frustrated’ to be benched for the Champions League semi-final victory against Real Madrid.
Asked whether he sees his long-term future at Chelsea, Pulisic told ESPN FC before Chelsea’s FA Cup final 1-0 defeat to Leicester City on Saturday evening: ‘Yeah, I’m obviously happy here. It has been an incredible two years.
“People have always doubted and said: “Oh, he’s not playing, does he want to go here, does he want to go there?”
“I’m always up for a challenge, I love competing, I love the position I’m in, and I’m enjoying my time here.”
Pulisic has scored 17 goals in 83 appearances for Chelsea since joining the club from Dortmund.
