Jose Mourinho

Ahead of both sides’ Premier League clash on Sunday night, Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho announced Spurs’ game plan against Chelsea.

With the urge to win the match against Chelsea, Mourinho said his team would go to Stamford Bridge, adding that they would try to score more goals than Frank Lampard’s players.

Following a 4-0 victory against Ludogorets in the European League on Thursday, Mourinho’s men head into the game.

Speaking of his side’s game plan against Chelsea, Mourinho was quoted by Tottenham’s official website as saying on Saturday at his pre-match press conference: “Score more goals than them! We go to win like we always do. Against Manchester City, we went to win. It’s going to be difficult, but not easy for them.”

Mourinho added: “It’s always difficult to play Chelsea. If I’m not wrong, the last 16 years they won the Premier League five times, and they didn’t finish in the Champions League positions only once.

“They have an amazing squad, so I’m not even worried about who is going to play, because they only have very good players.”
