Real Madrid left-back Sergio Reguilon is the new transfer target to appear on the radar of English Premier League side Arsenal.
Sergio Reguilon has been on loan to Sevilla this past season, and his results have drawn the interest of a number of top clubs.
However, sources suggest that Chelsea has also joined the rising star race and could theoretically defeat Arsenal in the fight as they qualified for Champions League football after finishing fourth in the Premier League standings last season.
Chelsea are also financially stronger and it proves so following the acquisition of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech and it makes sense why they are leading the race.
The 23-year-old would be looking for a move away from his parent club Real Madrid where he doesn’t seem to have a place in Zinedine Zidane’s starting lineup.
Sevilla, on the other hand, will attempt to keep Reguilon for another season but Real’s asking price of $30 million may prove to be rather steep for the side.
The Spain international registered three goals and four assists from 36 appearances across all competitions last season.
