Barcelona ace, Lionel Messi, has rejected that he posted bail for his former team-mate, Ronaldinho.
Ronaldinho was set free from a Paraguayan jail this week, after a $1.6million bail was posted.
In an IG post on Thursday, Messi insisted that the stories were false.
After rejecting rumours he was leaving Barca, Messi labeled a report saying he was behind Ronaldinho’s bail “the second lie”.
Ronaldinho is reportedly on house arrest at the Palmaroga Hotel.
After just 32 days of what was supposed to be a six-month sentence, the ex-Barcelona and AC Milan player along with his brother were freed from prison.
